Update 2.4.5 Is Here!

With the advent of actual playtesting from people other than the skeleton team at Bopstik, the game has now been updated to be a bit more compatible with those using their keyboards, as well as more learner-friendly.

It's actually amazing how many new things can be gleaned from observing other people play a small portion of your game. Or any kind of software in general. What people see, don't see, the questions they ask, the things they attempt to do, and the things they don't. All of which make a developer think differently about what they've created. See the list of changes below from version 2.4.2.

  • Added WASD keys to available keyboard controls.
  • Adjusted navigation of menus to include wrap-around movement where there was none.
  • Moving through code lines during Skill Programming was made less restrictive.
  • First-time progress through chapters 7 and 13 have been made more convenient by tracking the last objective the player completed before leaving the game.
  • More sound feedback for various player inputs, like dodging.
  • Default battle speed is now slower.
  • Players are given the option to switch to a faster battle speed during the story
  • Music can now be disabled in the Settings menu.
  • Various minor dialog changes for clarity.
  • Various bug fixes.
