This one's a bit of a random drop, but here's a rhythm-based game that I've always wanted to bring to netizens on itch, but never got the chance prior to now. It's another remnant from my university days, a musical journey where you lose yourself in the satisfaction of hitting all your notes, or be incensed by the rage of your own reflexive incompetence. Inspired by the folks that brought us the BIT TRIP series, the concept for this was thought up and hastily put together for a final year assignment in a game dev course almost a decade ago. It takes me back to a simpler time when all I wanted to do was zone out and get an old-fashioned arcade high score. Now, the assignment's been expanded from what it once was, spiced up with a subtle thematic commentary on the world we live in and the emotions it breeds. I'm delighted to immortalize the experience here!

Temper Bomb takes you through 5 levels of musical challenge, featuring brilliant sound tracks by the wonderful Alex Zhelanov and Alex Smith. Aim for your local top 3 scores in the downloadable PC version, or grab the Android version on Google Play and compete with the online leaderboards and nab yourself some challenging achievements.
